The IPC RGM Leader plays a pivotal role in driving profitable and sustainable topline growth within the organization. Responsible for strategic pricing, trade investments, and analytics, they collaborate closely with markets with their local teams to ensure accurate pricing execution and optimize return on investments. He should work with country and commercial teams closely on their revenue management activities & lead the direction of the project proposal of the RGM developing areas based on the channel/portfolio strategy of each country, including planning and delivery of their 3yr RGM Pipeline. Furthermore, they champion the development and enhancement of RGM capabilities, fostering a data-driven culture that empowers decision-making and fuels revenue growth.

Role Overview & Primary Accountabilities:

  • Lead the IPC RGM strategy by leveraging all the 5 RGM pillars and set the key priorities of the RGM target in each IPC country based on the insight of the business situation and development.
  • Define and implement a comprehensive price strategy across categories, regions and channels to maximize revenue, gain market share and compensate commodities inflation and FX impacts. Ensure consistent price strategy execution across markets through the effective management of performance and collaboration with Enterprise Markets GMs, marketing and commercial teams.
  • Lead optimization of trade investment by enabling the enterprise markets with tools and methodology to increase return on investment, plan and manage trade promotions and allowances and guarantee the right governance of the investments.
  • Collaborate in the product innovation and go-to-market strategy to capture the best value out of our products with the right pack-price architecture to address the competitive environments of each market, channel and segment, using analytic tools as SBPPC and shopper insights.
  • Collaborate with local commercial teams and monitor customer agreements to better use conditional investments to improve profitability of top customers in enterprise markets and to have the most effective use of commercial agreements.
  • Coach and enable local teams on the usage of channel and product mix to improve revenue.
  • Work with all the markets to make sure the execution of the key RGM projects achieve the targes within the timeline.
  • Escalate the RGM capability in all the IPC markets constantly by developing customized plan including training, tools implementation etc.

Essential Requirements

  • 10 years related exp or training or equivalent of education and experience. Experienced leader and commercial or finance executive with appropriate industry experience preferably in FMCG
  • A Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is required. An MBA or relevant certifications are desirable. English is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a comprehensive pricing strategy that aligns with organizational goals. Visionary leadership to drive profitable and sustainable topline growth.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify opportunities, efficiencies, and strategies. Comfort with data-driven decision-making, especially in maximizing return on investments.
  • In-depth knowledge of revenue management principles, pricing strategies, price elasticity, return on investment, NRR and revenue optimization techniques.
  • Deep understanding on channel/portfolio strategy and the capability to connect the RGM strategy with business strategy, experience in trade marketing role is preferred.
  • Experience with commercial policy setting and management, go-to-market concepts and cost-to-serve analysis.
  • Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, including General Managers, Financial leaders, Sales Directors and Marketing leaders.
  • An articulate individual and can relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent communication skills and both cultural and organization sensitivity and manage geographically remote teams, experience in regional role in matrix organization is preferred.
